Salem woman receives two-year prison term for possession of meth

A 58-year-old Salem woman has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court possession of methamphetamine.

Hope Yates of Cottonwood Drive will have to serve one year of parole when she gets out of prison.  She received credit for time already served.

As part of the plea, the second possession of meth charge from a different day, and all traffic charges were dismissed.
