Police Beat for Wednesday, November 7th, 2022

Salem Police arrested a homeless Salem man for a child sex offender registration violation after he was found in a public park.  Police report Russell Wimberly was located near the boat dock on the Salem Reservoir.   Police say Wimberly was free on bond on another sex offender registration violation at the time of his arrest.

Centralia Police arrested 51-year-old Homer Davis Junior of Franklin Street in Odin for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia following a Tuesday afternoon traffic stop at 2nd and Elm.

36-year-old Alan Snow of West St. Louis in Nashville was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following another traffic stop.  He was stopped for not having a license plate at 14th and Poplar.

Salem Police arrested 58-year-old Geoffrey Organ of West Boone Street in Salem for fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer, driving on a revoked license, and multiple traffic citations.  Police say they tried to stop Organ for a traffic violation at West Boone and Airport Road.   Organ reportedly wouldn’t stop and drove at speeds under 35 miles per hour until he reached his driveway where he was taken into custody.
