The Salem Recreation/YMCA youth and beginners soccer league was played on Thursday. In Youth League, Grace United Methodist beat BSI 2-0. In the win, Leah Byers and Audra Powell were the Players of the Game, and in the loss it was Scarlett Lewis and Kennedy Knapp.
In Beginner’s League Player of the Game was given to Oaklyn Peoples and Waylon Belfiore for Medicine Shoppe; Brilyn Moghadam, Paxton Stanford and Gabe Schleuter for Douglas Veterinary; Eli Hoslapple and Victoria Hunter for Americana; Elizabeth Gozia and Hollie Dallas for Gozia Law Firm.
