Bond has been set at $180,000 for a 35-year-old Salem man formally charged in Marion County Court on Tuesday with three felony disorderly conduct charges for allegedly making three separate bomb threats at Schutt Sports where he worked.

Damon DeBoer of South Jefferson had the public defender appointed to represent him and was ordered to have no contact with Schutt Sports and not use drugs or alcohol with random testing.

DeBoer is accused of called Schutt early Monday morning to say three bombs were inside the building.  While Salem and Secretary of State Police were investigating, he allegedly called back and said a bomb would go off at 11:30 Monday morning.   Based on information obtained in a search warrant executed on his home Monday, police were able to tie him to another bomb threat made on August 17th.

The public defender was appointed to represent DeBoer.
