The KC cross country teams traveled to the campus of Eastern Illinois University for the Walt Crawford Open. The meet included Marquette, EIU, SIU-E, Illinois-Chicago and Vincennes.
The Blue Angels were led by Chloe Tepe in a time of 22 minutes and 1 second. Brooklyn McAllister was next for the Angels in 23 minutes and 21 seconds, she was followed by Cayla Krueger, Maggie Fitzgerald, Grace Lauer and Cindy Snyder.
The Blue Devils were led by Nick Zwilling in 28 minutes and 40 seconds over the 8K distance. Ty Reynolds was next across the line for KC, followed by Nick Fehr. The number 4 counter was Ryan Gerges and Caleb Klein was the 5th counter.
The average time for the Blue Devils was 29:54 and the Blue Angels was 23:15.
