Two people were brought to the Marion County Jail on Friday on outstanding warrants.

The bed of a pickup truck caught fire as it was being driven in the 8400 US Highway 50 in rural Iuka late Friday afternoon.   Sheriff’s officials believe a cigarette was flipped onto carpeting in the back of the truck catching it on fire.   The minor fire had gone out by the time the Iuka Fire Department arrived on the scene.   The driver of the truck, 43-year-old Jason Bissey of Xenia, was arrested for driving on a suspended or revoked license and having no valid registration.
