Donna Kay Harden, 63, of Junction City, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 in her home. Donna was a strong-willed character with a spunky personality. She was a truck driver for over 10 years before she retired. She had a whole host of hobbies and interest. She loved gardening, camping, hunting, and fishing. She enjoyed working on cars and tinkering with just about anything, even when things weren’t necessary needing fixed. She had a spot in her heart for animals and would often care for the neighborhood strays. She is dearly loved by her family and will be missed.
Per Donna’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Donna is survived by her three sons: Randy Mitchell, Shane Mitchell and significant other Emily Howell of Odin, Willie Harden and wife Christie of Centralia; grandchildren: Laynie Harden, Kayleigh Skibinski, Chandler Mitchell, and Jada Howell; two brothers: Warren Mitchell of Tennessee and Steve Mitchell of Patoka; two sisters: Elizabeth Mitchell of Patoka and Nancy Bell of Centralia; and several nieces and nephews.
Donna was born April 14, 1959 in Centralia, the daughter of Leroy and Elizabeth Mitchell. She married Michael Harden and they later divorced after 14 years of marriage. Donna was preceded in death by her parents: Leroy and Elizabeth Mitchell; ex-husband: Michael Harden; and several siblings.
