Betty Maxey, 70, of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Odin Healthcare Center.
She was born June 10, 1952, in Breese, the daughter of Edgar Almasy and Dorothy (Shemoski) Almasy. She married John Maxey on July 31, 1999, and he survives.
In addition to her husband of 22 years, John Maxey of Centralia, Betty is also survived by her son: Tobey Eiskant and fiancé Amber Jackson of Mt. Vernon; and three grandchildren: Jasper, Trinity, and Lukas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, and reading. She cherished the time she spent with her husband, son, grandchildren, friends, and four-legged companion: Maggie.
Per Betty’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 18, 2022, at 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
