The Salem 8u opened up the first day of the Colt World Series at Rent One Park in Marion. Salem split the first two game beating Waltonville in the morning 16-1 before falling to Puerto Rico in the afternoon 15-5. Salem returns to pool play action today at 11 against Marion and 5pm against Murphysboro. Elimination Bracket play will be held tomorrow.
