A mobile home south of the Centralia City Limits was damaged in a Wednesday afternoon fire.
Centralia Fire Protection District Chief Ross Boshera says the fire was at a home owned by Roger Downen at 2321 South Pine Street.
Upon arrival, the department found smoke and fire coming from a bedroom at one end of the mobile home. The department got a quick knockdown and confined the fire to the bedroom and mattress.
Downen was attempting to pull siding off the area of the fire when firemen arrived to try and assist them in reaching the fire.
There were no injuries.
The fire call came in at 3:56 Wednesday afternoon with firemen on the scene until about six Wednesday night.
