Linda K. Alderson, 81, of Kinmundy, Illinois, passed away at her home on Monday, October 19, 2026.
Linda was born on September 2, 1945, in Salem, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Cleta (Pierce) Jones. On October 26, 1962, she married Robert “Dale” Alderson in Salem, Illinois. They shared 57 years of marriage before his passing May of 2020. Throughout her working years, Linda was employed at Brown Shoe Factory and N.A.L. before retiring.
Linda is survived by her granddaughter, Danielle Cooper and husband Jody of Omega; two great-grandsons, Hunter and wife Melanie, and Preston; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Cleta Jones; her husband, Robert “Dale” Alderson; and her son, Robert “Bobby” Dale Alderson Jr.
Graveside services for Linda will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Lovell’s Grove Cemetery in Omega, Illinois, with Josh Conley officiating. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences and memories can be left at www.CrouseFH.com.
