The SC Cougars earned a 3-2, walk-off home win over Altamont last night. Aidan Hoover laced a game winning single to right in the bottom of the seventh scoring Jordan Smith from 3rd. Hoover added a pair of other singles to lead the offense. Colton Tockstein started and held the Indians to 2 runs in 5 innings. Ryker Dodson pitched 2 scoreless relief innings to pick up the win. SC is 9-7 overall and will travel to Neoga on Friday.
North Clay beat Dieterich 11-4. Cooper Lewis and Talon Hemphill each had 2 hits, Collin Schnepper drove in 4 runs. Colton Cartright was the winning pitcher allowing 5 hits and 1 run over 6 innings striking out 6.
The Woodlawn baseball team plays at St Anthony.
