The KC cross country teams competed at the Bradley Intercollegiate Invite in Peoria.
In the varsity boys race, KC tied with Greenville University for 8th with 245 points, but the tie breaker going to Greenville, putting KC 9th in the 15 team invite. Jack Shank led KC finishing 44th, Oliver Lee was the next counter followed by Salem grad Robby Shober in 29:18 over the 8k course. Brady Marshall and Adin Roach were the final two counters.
The Blue Angels were 10th as a team led by Rylee Brammeier of Walnut Hill in a time of 21:01 followed by Centralia’s Gracie Morgan, Joscelynn Morrow, Alexis Simmons and Riley Lusch. KC will run at the Heartland Invite in Normal on Friday.
