Charles Leroy “Bud” Craig of Alma, IL passed away August 26th at 8:16 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon at the age of 77.
He was the son of the late Richard and Virginia (Burkett) Craig.
He married Brenda (Branch) Craig June 29th, 1967, and they later divorced.
He is survived by 3 children, Chuck R. (Elizabeth) Craig of Parker, CO., Tony E. (Jenniefer) Craig of Salem, Jackie L. Craig East of Salem. 8 grandchildren Michelle Craig, Alex Craig, Taylor Craig, Travis Craig, Kristen Craig, Shaun East, Gracelyn East and Avery East, 3 siblings Marvin “Butch” Barbee and significant other Joann, Richard “Barney” (Pam) Craig, Jerry (Angela) Craig.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, sisters Pat (Barbee) Chasteen and Janice (Barbee) Schwabe.
Bud worked at World Color Press in Salem for 23 years as a forklift driver.
Bud enjoyed fishing, boating and tinkering.
Per Bud’s wishes, there will be no services.
