The Salem Recreation Department plans music prior to the city’s 4th of July Fireworks Display over the Salem Reservoir Saturday night.
Recreation Director Jed Casburn says bring out your lawn chairs to enjoy the evening in Bryan Memorial Park.
“We’re going to have a great fireworks display this year, and before that were going to have two bands entertaining us for the night. We’ve got great food trucks coming here for the community. Cody and Christy Philips are going to start us out at five and go to about 6:30. Sojourn rocks will be from 630 to close, then we got fireworks starting at 9 pm.”
Casburn says the music will be played outside the front entrance of the Aquatic Center so it is very close to where the fireworks will be shot off.
