Two people were brought to the Marion County Jail on Monday on outstanding no bond Marion County failure to appear felony warrants. They are 53-year-old Howard Mays of Sanders Street in Centralia and 53-year-old James Smith of Vermundy Road in Kinmundy.
Salem Police arrested 37-year-old Brady Vermaas of Metcalf Road in Iuka for driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was later released on a notice to appear.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two people following a traffic stopin 2700 block of South Broadway in Salem on Sunday morning. The driver, 37-year-old Michael Wimberly of Maplewood Avenue, was arrested for driving on a suspended license, unlawful use of medical cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of under five grams of methamphetamine.
