During its meeting Monday evening, the Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees approved a number of personnel-related items.

Board members accepted the retirement of English professor John Orlet. Trustees also approved a trio of resignations, including assistant professor of nursing Tori Lueke, Trenton Education Center coordinator Paige Stamps, and Manufacturing and Work-Based Learning Coordinator Craig Boehne.

In addition, board members approved the hiring of Caleb Willman as assistant professor of construction occupations, and approved the employment of Amanda Krydynski and Serra Morton as assistant professors of nursing.

Also on Monday, trustees approved a resolution setting a public hearing for the college’s tentative Fiscal Year 2027 budget. That hearing will be held at 6 p.m. September 28th, prior to the board of trustees’ regular meeting which will be held at the Greenville Education Center. The tentative budget will be on display for public review in the office of the vice president of administrative services between August 27th and September 26th, and will also be available on the Kaskaskia College website.
