The Salem Fire Protection District was called out Tuesday night to a fire stretched out along the Union Pacific Railroad Tracks at the Salem Country Club.
Firemen say the fire covered about three-fourths of an acre in all. They believe it may have been started by a train.
The fire call came in at 9:03 pm, with firemen on the scene about an hour.
