Lynn Cherie Ott, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on December 3, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on June 2, 1951, in Centralia, Illinois, and lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Lynn was the proud mother of Ashlie Ott (Kent Costello) and Jason Ott. She was a cherished grandmother to Keller, Kendalen, and Kash Costello, whose lives she touched with endless affection, guidance, and joy.
She is survived by her beloved sister Gail Adams (Daniel) of Foristell, MO, as well as special nieces Tracey, Talisa, & Taneal, and extended family members who will forever remember her warmth, generosity, and spirited personality. She will be deeply missed by her lifelong friends, Peggy Beal, Pam Shaw, & Sharon Aussieker.
Lynn was preceded in death by her brother Les R. Mansfield, her father Ira “Bud” Mansfield, and her mother Jean Elizabeth (Smith) Mansfield.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend-a woman whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and light to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
