The Franklin Park Bobcats are at home against Aviston coming off yesterday’s 3-1 win at Effingham.  Ben Lux doubled and scored, Ely Purdy added a run as did Dakota Gregg.  EJ Wolfe singled as did Tanner Purintun.  Lux worked 5.2 allowing 2 hits and no earned runs while striking out 9.  Emit Gibson got the save working the final 1.1.

Selmaville took 3rd place at the OBC Tournament beating Central City 8-2.  Isaac Knapp was the winning pitcher giving up 2 hits and 1 earned run in over 3 innings of work.  Jacob Butts pitched in relief.  Butts had a good day at the plate going 3-4 with 4 RBI, Izac Holsapple drove in 2 runs, Rafe James and Maddux Lograsso added RBI as well.

Iuka improved to 6-1 by handing Patoka/Odin their first loss of the season 6-5.  The Pirates trailed 5-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh when they would walk it off with the comeback victory.  Vince Krajefska, Devan Jennings, Trygg Aaron and Hosea Weems each drove in Iuka runs.  Krajefska and Aaron combined on the mound for the win.  Nolan Eddy, Dane Jolliff and Hunter Hyde each drove in Patoka/Odin runs.  The SC Falcons will play baseball today at Patoka/Odin.

St Mary/Willow Grove beat Trinity 1-0.  Benett Edwards pitched five shutout innings and Amare Billberry got the 2 inning save.  Bilberry also had 2 hits at the plate.  Keagan Quick was good on the mound for Trinity going 6 innings and striking out 14.  The Wildcard host Rome tonight.

Sandoval lost to Raccoon 10-6.  In the loss, Hunter Timmons struck out 6 and gave up just 2 hits.  Bo Martinez drove in 2 runs and Hunter Timmons added an RBI.

Yesterday, North Clay lost to Cumberland 11-1, Dieterich beat Neoga 7-5, Marion over Harrisburg 6-3, Mt Vernon 12-2 over Rome, Nashville beat Pinckneyville 8-1, Olney 15-11 over Flora, Vandalia shutout Pana 12-0.
