Bartelso Takes On Aviston For CCL Title Starting Sunday

The Clinton County League playoffs continued yesterday.  2^nd seed Bartelso beat 3^rd seed Trenton in the semifinals 8-4.  The Barts had a 4-0 lead until the top of the 8^th when the Miners scored 4 to tie the game.  Bartelso answered with 4 more in their half of the 8^th for the win.  Kurt Peppenhorst had 2 hits and Jason Cobb had 4 RBI.

Bartelso will play top-seed Aviston for the title after they beat 4^th seed Beckemeyer 3-0 in the other semifinal.

The best-of-three championship series begins at 1pm Sunday in Bartelso.
