Everett Dean Tindall, age 67 of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
Dean was born on January 10, 1958, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the son of Everett A. and Ruby Bernice (VanZandt) Tindall.
Survivors include his son, David Tindall and wife Gret of Salem; sister, Betty Jean Briscall, and husband Bryan of Kingsport, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kaylee, Brooke, Blake, Lily, Christopher, Audrey, and Lucas; and three great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ruby; a son, Eric Tindall; a sister, Mary Kathryn Luker; a brother, Donald Taylor Tindall; and a nephew, Mark Luker.
Graveside services for Everett Dean Tindall will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mulkeytown Cemetery in Mulkeytown, Illinois. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
