Both drivers were treated for minor injuries following a two vehicle crash late Thursday morning at the Seven Hills and Kinoka Roads in rural Patoka.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say an SUV driven by 38-year-old Robin McNutt of Vermundy Road in Vernon was northbound on Seven Hills Road when she failed to stop at the Kinoka Road intersection. A pickup truck driven by 56-year-old Steven Shannon was traveling east on Kinoka Road and struck the side of McNutt’s vehicle. Both vehicles ended up off the roadway and had to be towed from the scene.
The two drivers were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment.
The crash occurred at 11:32 Thursday morning.
