Police Beat for Friday, January 17th, 2025

Wamac Police have arrested 47-year-old Joshua Keebler of North Wall Street in Wamac for domestic battery.   He was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a final decision on charges.

Salem Police arrested 25-year-old Brody Hall of Maplewood Avenue in Salem on a 2018 Clay County misdemeanor warrant.   He was taken into custody when police were called to a domestic problem in a vehicle at Mills Cart and Roddy Road around 4:15 Friday morning.  Hall was unable to post the $5,000 bond and was transferred to the Clay County Jail at Louisville.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 34-year-old Michael Owens of Sanders Street in Wamac on a new Marion County felony warrant for unlawful restraint and violation of pre-trial conditions.

38-year-old Jennifer Spikes of South 26th in Mt. Vernon was transferred from the Jefferson County Jail to Marion County on an outstanding no bond Marion County misdemeanor warrant.  Spikes is also being held on a Lake County warrant.

35-year-old Aaron Hubbard of East Gragg in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a felony no bond failure to appear warrant.
