North American Lighting Salem Plant announces shift cancellations due to the weather

North American Lighting Salem Plant Hourly/Salary Team Members:

Please be aware of the upcoming winter storm prediction. The storm is expected to begin Sunday and continue through Monday. At this time, NAL Salem Plant will be open for business with the following schedule changes:

• 3^rd shift Monday (starting Sunday night) production has been canceled.
• 1^st shift Monday for all team members (hourly and salary) has also been canceled.  Production will resume on 2^nd shift, Monday 1/6/2025.
• 2^nd Shift Technicians and Support Functions, please speak with your supervisor to confirm your start times.

This change in schedule will allow time for roads to be cleared improving overall road condition and safety. We are also closely monitoring the incoming winter weather and will keep you updated of any weather-related schedule changes using text updates and normal communication channels. We respect each individual’s right to make decisions concerning their own personal safety in traveling to work. Please be extra mindful of your personal safety this weekend.
