Salem Youth Wrestling Has Great Weekend

Salem Youth Wrestling had a great weekend of youth wrestling to get the first tournaments of the year in the books. Lots of improvement from last year, lots of firsts, and a lot of hard work paying off. Avery Horn capping it off in Lawrence County with the Most Outstanding Wrestler award for the Novice age group.
Saturday at the Edwardsville Beginner’s Tournament:
1st place: Nickolie Brehm- 1 tech call, 1 pin
Michael Davis
2nd place: Carter Davis
3rd place: Karsyn Guidish
Ryker Brehm got his first win and Fabian Ramirez got his first win via pin.
Sunday at the Lawrence County Open:
1st Place:
