One person was injured in a crash on Route 37 south of Farina.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Dakota McGuire of Charleston was backing out of a driveway onto Route 37 and collided with a car on Route 37 driven by 43-year-old Brenda Riddle of Tanner Street in Louisville.
Both drivers escaped injury, but a passenger in the McGuire car, 22-year-old Makenzie Wooden of Route 37 in Farina, was taken to the Effingham hospital for treatment.
McGuire was ticketed for improper backing.
The crash occurred at 2:57 Tuesday afternoon.
