This weekend, athletes from 5 different states competed in the Nike Cross Regionals – Midwest in Terre Haute, IN. The race was held at the Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. Two local schools traveled to the ISU facility to compete.
At Saturday’s NXR middle school race, the St. Mary’s cross country team competed. Runners in the boys race included 8th graders Tucker Aydt and Kayson Waters, 7th graders Griffin Knowles and Callen Williams, and 6th grader Turner Aydt. The girls were represented by 7th graders Addyson Pender and MadaLynn Wethington.
Sunday’s races were for the high school level. Centralia High School was represented by junior Aurora Amason and freshmen Kailee Easley and Kierstyn Pender.
