Lawrence “Larry” Woerner Hebron, age 85, of Farina, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday,
November 4, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 8, at 11 a.m. at Kinmundy United Methodist Church
with a two-hour visitation prior to the service. Michael Rudzinski will be officiating.
Interment will be at Farina Cemetery. Memorials may go to the Cummingham Children’s Home,
Urbana, IL or Leslie Bates Davis Neighborhood House in East St. Louis or donor’s choice. Online

Larry was born on August 11, 1940, in Farina, Illinois, the son of Howard and Frances (Woerner)
Hebron. He married Patsy Wagoner in Edgewood, IL on January 8, 1961. He enjoyed
woodworking, singing in the choir, motorcycling, square dancing, and continuing the family tradition
farming. He achieved his goal of obtaining his pilot’s license. He was a retired telecommunicator
for the Illinois State Police District 12. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy, son, Lawrence Hebron II (Ruth) of Farina; daughters: Katrina
(Heinz) Hebron-Goerke, Christine Hebron, both of Farina; brother: Tom (Caroline) Hebron of
Tolono; sister-in-law, Joanne Hebron of Tennessee; grandchildren: Hannah Goerke, Lacie (Brian)
Livingston, Dr. Jamie (Antoine) Kennedy, Cody (Sarah) Richardson, Katelyn (Derek) Chancy,
Frances “Hal”(Nick Yamamoto) Hebron, Kara Shimboff, Chris (Amanda) Shimboff III, Tony
(Khristian)Shimboff; great-grandchildren: Mariah and Landon Livingston, Antoine, Ava, Ayden,
Averiee, Axeston, Azerick Kennedy; Millie, Emily, Walker, Rylee Richardson; Meredith and
Camden Chancy; Ethan (Shaylen) White, Kaley Ramsey, Chris (Alexis) Shimboff IV, Theodore
Shimboff, Jasper Shimboff, Anthian Shimboff, Zephaniah (Lexi) Shimboff, and Jhemi Shimboff;
great-great grandchildren: Nicholas Shimboff, Ellie, and Adeline White. And his beloved dog,
Macy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Frances Hebron; brother, John Hebron.
