An early Friday morning fire destroyed a Sandoval home, camper, and shed.
Sandoval Fire Chief Chad Parson says the fire at the Jim Wells home at 505 Willow Street had engulfed all three before they arrived on the scene. It is unclear in which building the fire started. A State Deputy Fire Marshal was called to the scene to try and determine the cause.
Parson said Wells was in the process of remodeling the home and was not staying in the residence. One person was in the camper behind the home but got out safely.
The fire call came in around four am, with firemen on the scene for about three hours.
The Centralia City Fire Department, Centralia Fire Protection District, and Odin Firemen all responded with mutual aid.
