It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Erwin, 82, of Salem. She was born on April 22nd, 1943, to Harry Sr. and Armeta (Rainey) Deitz in Albion, Illinois.
Beverly is survived by her three sons: Terry Erwin Jr and wife Karen, Jerry Erwin and wife Shelia, and Jeff Erwin and fiancée Jackie; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Robert Deitz and Harry “Butch” Deitz Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Harry Sr. and Armeta Deitz; sister: Doris Faye Stover; and ex-husband: Terry H. Erwin Sr.
Beverly was a woman of strong Christian faith. She attended Evergreen Christian Church until her health wouldn’t allow it anymore. She was a bank teller in Salem for 40 years. Besides her faith, the greatest joy of her life was spending time with her family.
