The Salem Lady Wildcats honored their 4 seniors and then proceeded to sweep Marion last night including a 25-17, 25-13 win in the varsity match improving Salem to 16-11. The night began with a 21-7, 21-6 win for the freshmen and the JV won 25-7, 25-19.
South Central lost to Olney 24-26, 18-25 to fall to 16-15 on the season. Jalynn Mitchell had 16 digs, Bailey Wodtka and Reagan Roberts added 4 kills each. SC lost the JV match in 3 sets and won the Fresh/Soph match in straight sets. South Central will finish the regular season at home tomorrow against Christ Our Rock.
Also yesterday, Carbondale beat West Frankfort, Mater Dei lost to Edwardsville, Nashville over Murphysboro, NCOE beat Fairfield and Wayne City beat Altamont.
