One person was injured when a car overturned on its top early Monday afternoon following a crash at Boone and Broadway in Salem.
Salem Police say a car driven by 38-year-old Rachel Tate of North Marion Street in Salem was traveling eastbound on Boone Street. She collided with a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Lisa Brown of North Broadway in Salem that was traveling northbound on North Broadway. After impact, the Brown vehicle turned over on its top in the roadway.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called, but Brown had gotten out of the vehicle on her own before they arrived.
Brown was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment. Tate was not injured.
The crash was reported at 1:08 Monday afternoon.
