The Salem cross country boys put 4 runners in the top ten Saturday in the Cahokia Conference cross country meet but still took third place overall. Roxanna won with 47 points followed by Freeburg with 50 points and the Wildcats with 52.
Earning all conference was Caiden Beer 3rd, Hunter Malan 4th, Robby Shober 9th and Alex Spencer 10th.
In the girls race earning all conference honors was Kendall Zimmerman 2nd and Maci Thorsen 4th. The girls were short handed and did not place as a team.
The Wildcats compete this Saturday at the Carbondale Regional.
