The Marion County Sheriff’s Department investigated a report of a gunshot fired out of a car near the driveway of a home in the 7300 block of Malone Road in rural Alma. The resident reported the car stopped close to the driveway before firing the shot. The car then took off northbound at a high rate of speed. The sheriff’s department patrolled the neighborhood following the incident but were unable to find any potential suspects. They report there were no additional gunshots reported in the area. The report came in at 9:52 Sunday night.
Salem Police arrested 33-year-old David Garden of West Rogers in Salem for domestic battery after he allegedly got into an altercation with a woman at his residence.
32-year-old Zachary Wooters of Clinmar Street in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding no-bond Marion County felony failure to appear warrant.
