It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Randolph “Randy” G. Baughman, II, who left us unexpectedly on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the age of 36. A lifelong resident of Centralia, Illinois, Randy was born on Friday, September 8, 1989, in Centralia, where he created countless memories with family and friends.
Randy is lovingly remembered by his mother, Amanda Waddell of St. Louis, Missouri, and his father, Mike Morris of Centralia. He leaves behind his cherished siblings, Tiffany Waddell, Brandon Waddell, Vernon Ruo, and Jeremy Ruo, all residing in St. Louis, Missouri; Brittany Corzine of Beckemeyer; Chard Cochran of Iuka; and Rodney Toobs of Hannibal, Missouri. He also leaves behind his beloved grandmother, Regina Atnip of Walnut Hill, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Randolph G. Baughman, Sr.; his sister, Tasha Lytle; his grandfathers, Wayne Morris and James Atnip; and his cherished niece, Tyleonna Edmondson.
Throughout his life, Randy had an undeniable passion for fixing and working on cars, an interest that occupied both his hands and his heart. He had a fondness for collecting hats and hoodies and was renowned for his love of food. Affectionately known as a “lady’s man,” Randy was always surrounded by friends and family, especially his adored nieces and nephews, to whom he was deeply devoted. Randy was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend whose spirit and laughter will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation Rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Rock Church in Centralia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mike Morris and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, located at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801.
