Salem man taken to hospital following wreck on US 50 east of Sandoval

A 47-year-old Salem man was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment following a single vehicle crash Monday morning in the 800 block of US 50 east of Sandoval.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Kevin Smith of South Maple apparently suffered a medical issue before his vehicle ran off the road into a ditch.

The incident occurred at 7:49 Monday morning.
