The Centralia Elks Lodge celebrates their 125th Anniversary on Saturday with a day and evening of activities.
The Centralia Elks Lodge is the 493rd lodge chartered in the country, is the fourth oldest in Illinois and was the first lodge south of Springfield. The current building at McCord and Locust is the fourth lodge building.
The Saturday event begins with kids activities from one to three. First responders, police, fire, and ambulance will all be on hand along wit the Elks Drug Awareness Trailer with Elroy Elk. There will also be bounce houses, hot dogs, and drinks.
Activities for the adults are planned on Saturday night. There is an all you can eat chicken, draft beer and half price drinks from six to eight. The Facts of Life Band will perform from eight to midnight. Tickets are $20 per person at the door.
