One person was treated on the scene following a three-vehicle rear end crash on Route 161 near the Schwartz Road intersection east of Centralia.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say the crash occurred when 85-year-old Marion Harmon of Davis Avenue in Centralia ran into the rear of two vehicles stopped in traffic. He first struck a pickup driven by 43-year-old Timothy Smythes of Third Street in Centralia which pushed Smythes vehicle into one waiting to make a left-hand turn into a driveway driven by 39-year-old Matthew Phoenix of West 4th in Centralia.
Smythes was treated on the scene and declined hospital treatment.
The crash occurred at 7:40 Wednesday morning.
