The City of Salem has issued a boil order for customers in the area of Washington Street at Blair Street, North Washington Street to Sanger, East Commercial Street from South Washington to Route 37, Lester Street from Route 37 to the dead end following a waterline break on Wednesday on East Blair.
Those under the boil order should boil water at a rolling boil for at least FIVE minutes before using.
The BOIL ORDER will remain in effect until laboratory sampling confirms that water quality has been fully restored. At that time, notice will be sent out via the City’s Facebook page & website salemil.us and also WJBD Radio.
