Centralia saw its second Oktoberfest in Fairview Park on Saturday, September 14. The event featured local vendors, food trucks, skate park activities, and live music including a headliner concert by Murphy 500 and Taco Truck.
Adam Feig of 618 Sports Academy described the turnout and how proceeds of the concert would benefit the park:
“We couldn’t ask for a better evening and a better turnout from the people from Centralia here,” Feig said. “You know, we’re doing this for the kids and the community… all proceeds from tonight will be put out here for field improvements and equipment for the kids, and will continue to allow them to have a nice and safe place to play.”
The event was sponsored by 618 Sports Academy and Crooked Creek Winery.
