Rural Kell man gets five year prison term for violating probation on drug conviction

A 29-year-old rural Kell man has been sentenced to five years in prison after his probation was revoked on a possession of under five grams of methamphetamine conviction.

Kerry Whipple of Carter Road will be given credit for 150 days already served in the Marion County Jail.  He’ll also have to complete six months of mandatory supervised release when getting out of prison.
