Kinmundy-Alma Fire Chief Kevin Day says a self propelled John Deer sprayer was destroyed fire Wednesday afternoon.
The sprayer owned by Tri-Ag of Omega was in the process of returning to the 6400 block of Armstrong Road to reload when the engine compartment caught fire. It then spread to the rest of the unit.
The operator was able to get off the sprayer without injury.
Day reports firemen had no issues putting the fire out and no other property was endangered.
The fire call came in at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
