The City of Centralia issued 13 building permits in July totaling $247,725.
Seven of them were for rooftop solar arrays. Those projects total $231,225.
Other permits included one for Mission Centralia to construct a wheelchair ramp at a home in the 50 block of South Cherry, the location of a $10,000 shed at a home in the 1200 block of South Hickory, construction of a front porch at a home in the 1800 block of Gragg Street. Three fence projects were approved as well.
There was only one demolition permit issued during the month. Tyler Fleeman received a permit to demolish an addition to the rear of the former Green Grill Restaurant and Bar at 319 East Broadway.
