The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has released more information on a one-vehicle rollover crash early Thursday night on Route 161 Extension at Buchanan Road in rural Iuka.
Sheriff’s Deputies say a pickup truck driven by 26-year-old Cody Kingston of Clinmar Street in Centralia ran off the road and came to rest on its top in a field on the north side of the highway. There were three passengers in the vehicle, 24-year-old Khristy Epperson of Maple Street in Sandoval, and two and six-year-old juveniles. All were able to get out of the pickup truck on their own.
One of the juveniles was transported by United Medical Response to Salem Township Hospital for treatment. The Iuka Fire Department was also called to assist the accident victims.
The crash occurred at 5:49 on Thursday night.
