State Police have released the names of those involved in a two pickup truck crash on Route 37 at the Church Road intersection south of Salem Thursday afternoon.
State Police report the driver of the pickup truck that was stopped in traffic is identified as 75-year-old Joyce Colclasure of Alma. The passenger is 81-year-old Rea Colclasure of Alma. Both were taken to an area hospital for treatment of apparent minor injuries.
The driver of the truck that struck the rear of their vehicle is identified as 46-year-old Cory Thorson of Salem. He declined medical treatment.
Salem Firemen were called to the scene for possible extrication, but report just one of the occupants of the Colclasure vehicle needed help getting out of their truck. The truck had overturned on its top after exiting the road after the impact of the crash.
The crash occurred at 1:25 on Thursday afternoon.
