Elena Vanhoutin competed at the 2024 Junior Gold National Bowling Tournament in Detroit, Michigan over the past week-plus. Competing with 545 other competitors, Elena averaged 136 for the 4-day tournament (-1023) and was 522nd.
Last year’s runner up, Macy Jones of Shobonier averaged 180 for the week and finished with a -316 and finished 115.
Also locally, Alexis Livesay of Hoyleton finished 532nd place with a -1082.
