The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed a third teenager has died following a UTV truck crash on Wednesday evening.
The 14-year-old girl had been transported by air ambulance to an Indianapolis hospital for life-threatening injuries following the crash that had earlier claimed the lives of 13 and 14-year-old girls.
The Shelby County Coroner has identified the three as 14-year-old Edie Wittenberg of Strasburg, 14-year-old Sienna Bostedo of Mode, and 13-year-old Karly Wetherall of Stewardson.
State Police say preliminary information indicates the UTV disobeyed a stop sign at the intersection of two rural roads and hit the front of the grain hauler.
