A 42-year-old Kinmundy man has been arrested by Kinmundy Police for aggravated criminal sexual abuse to a person under 18.
Police Chief Joe Duffy says an investigation began when a juvenile girl complained that William Magnusson of North Monroe Street had inappropriately touched her.
The alleged victim was interviewed by the Amy Center and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services also assisted in the case.
Magnusson turned himself in on Wednesday. He was formally charged Thursday morning and is scheduled to have his first court appearance Thursday afternoon.
