The Salem Wildcat track team will be represented today at the New Balance National Track Meet in Philadelphia.
Avery and Payton Gullion will compete in the freshman High Jump along with 45 other of the best freshman high jumpers in the country after qualifying with their jumps of 6-feet over the course of the season.
Avery is ranked 4th out of the 28 jumper field in flight 1 with Payton ranked 5th. They will jump on Friday morning at 10 am.
This is the first time SCHS track has ever been represented at the New Balance Nationals.
